It is an idea, that Someone, somewhere, is scouring the streets, the high school locker room and the back of your Buick, looking out for you and your best interests. Sometimes, we need friends. Someone is that friend. One of the nicest guys in a swimming pool filled with sharks, roughnecks and scandalous debutantes, Someone stands out like pee in a "Don’t Pee" pool. It helps people feel free to where what they like. Thats whats ill about it -Clothing to me is an important part of every music culture. Hip Hop began up in the Bronx in NY in the 70s, primarily among artists that dressed how they felt, not how they were told to look by there label/manager or whatever you know what I’m saying? From Adrift...
to me, someone represents the freedom in being yourself represented through the clothes we choose to wear....with the monkey arms line in particular the unique ability to wear art is one of the best reasons to buy and rock someone clothing, its a clear reflection of the individuality artists are always looking to speak through their art wether in sound and/or sight.....my hope is that we can push good music, original clothing and the message that expression is never limited to what we are fed through the usual media outlets, as there is so much going on beneath the surface with every genre and hip hop being the one i’m most familiar with I recognize just how valuable it is to be affiliated with someone clothing and their mission which so closely resembles how i approach the creation of art in any medium....set yourself apart and listen....someone clothing.....thanks so much for the support and its a blessing to be part of this amazingly talented group of artists
